Alexandra Bochkareva
Alexandra Bochkareva is award-winning photographer specializing in portraits and fine art, and is artistically drawn to redheads. She was born and raised in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and is now based in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Most of her photographs are captured with a manual lens (Helios 77m-4 and Helios 44m) and natural lighting, making the spell-binding pictures even more impressive. Alexandra has a project dedicated to red-haired and freckled people called Redheads’ Stories (#RedheadsStories).

Slovenian-born Beno Saradzic is a multidisciplinary visual artist, who now resides in Dubai. In professional circles, Beno is known as a filmmaker, producer, conceptual 3D computer graphics artist, and a photographer. His many awards and achievements include an Emmy Nomination in 2014 for Outstanding Cinematography, produced by the BBC Natural History Unit. He is regularly featured in international and local publications like Digital Photography, Scott Kelby’s blog, Chip Foto Video, Practical Photography, and many others. Beno is a brand ambassador for Canon Europe & MENA region, NiSi Filters, and F-Stop Gear Staff Pro. Beno is a frequent speaker and photography educator, and has conducted dozens of workshops on subjects such as Advanced HDR photography, Dynamic Image Blending & Image Synthesis, and Time Lapse Cinematography.

Blake Pleasant
Blake Pleasant is a city, street, portrait, and commercial photographer from Chicago, Illinois, and takes a documentary-style approach to his photography. His work has been described as clean, colorful, and vintage—something he attributes to his love of 35mm film, and studying America’s mid-20th-century photographers. Today, Blake loves to get lost in the everyday scenes of Chicago’s streets, and aims to capture authentic scenes and the city’s diverse people in a creative, inspiring way. He was first introduced to photography in 2013 while studying advertising at University of South Carolina. His work has been published by global brands like Thrillist, Adobe, Moment Lens, the City of Chicago, VSCO, and more. He is available for commission work and stock/assignment photography. Blake loves hearing from other photographers and enjoys helping other artists reach their full creative potential.

Catherine MacBride is a creative photographer and artist from Dublin, Ireland. Her photography is quite varied, ranging from portraiture to still life, but she is best known for her photography of her paper art—in which she produces brand new, little worlds with nothing more than imagination, a few sheets of paper, and her camera and lights. Her work is represented by a number of agencies, and has been used worldwide in a number of ways, from children’s clothing to book covers. She is a Fellow of the Irish Photographic Federation and writes and speaks regularly about photography.

Chris Schmid is an award-winning wildlife and travel photographer / filmmaker based in Switzerland, although his work takes him all over the world. His photographs invite viewers to discover the world with wide eyes and vibrant enthusiasm. Chris is a Sony Global Imaging ambassador, a DJI ambassador, and an official contributing photographer to WildAID. He has won multiple international awards, including PDN World in Focus, IPA Professional, PX3 Prix de la Photographie de Paris, and Nature’s Best Photography Africa. Chris is also a contributor to the Remembering Elephants project, the Born Free Foundation fundraising book and exhibition, which is illustrated by the world's finest wildlife photographers. He and his wife Carolina are the founders of Eyemage Films, a film production company whose mission is to highlight issues around conservation and the protection of wildlife through engaging and educational content.

Chun Chau
Chau is a nature photographer who lives in Honolulu, Hawaii. He is originally from Hong Kong and moved to the island in 2012, shortly after which underwater and landscape photography became his passion. After getting a chance to interact with these animals up-close underwater, he quickly learned their behaviors and has done his best to spread awareness of these creatures on social media. Not everyone is fortunate enough to live in paradise. Chau has made it his goal to inspire and bring smiles to whoever comes across his images. He wants to make it possible for everyone to be inspired by the unique nature as well as the creatures that call Hawaii home—just as they inspired him. And for people who cannot visit Hawaii to see it for their own eyes, he shares his images in the hopes of spreading awareness to your hearts.

Connor Surdi
Connor Surdi is a 25 year old photographer from Seattle, WA. While he specializes in commercial photography, he also professionally shoots automotive, portraiture, weddings and generally anything else that catches his eye. His weapons of choice are the Sony A7RIII, paired with mostly prime lenses and one telephoto zoom. In 2016, he was blessed with the opportunity to join the Sony Alpha Collective. When he’s not writing about himself in the third person, Connor likes to work on his 1968 Volkswagen Bug (her name is Eveline), go to hip-hop concerts, go hiking in the beautiful PNW, and binge eat Oreo thins. If that’s all you ever know about Connor, it’s enough to say you know him very, very well.

Daniel Cheong
Daniel was born in Mauritius, of Chinese descent and French by nationality. His job in the telecom industry requires that he travel frequently to numerous destinations, including France, USA, Japan, and Singapore, although he now lives in Dubai. Daniel always loved photography, but only became serious about it when he bought his first DSLR camera in Singapore, back in 2006. That was where he discovered the world of High Dynamic Range photography. Daniel then aimed to perfect the technique of Digital Blending, which consists of manually blending multiple bracketed exposures in order to obtain the maximum dynamic range, while trying to keep a very natural look, and avoid the common mistake of many 'overcooked' HDR images. He tries to achieve the slight element of the surreal or hyper reality often found in painting in his work.

Dariane Sanche (a.k.a. DS Sanchez, her artist name) was born in Mont Laurier and grew up in Mont Tremblant, a region of Quebec, Canada. Her passion for photography led her to move to Montreal. At only 25 years old, she is a professional photographer specializing in fashion, portrait, and beauty photography. Dariane already has nearly 10 years of experience in photography and photo editing. Well-known in the Montreal fashion industry, she works with Montreal's most renowned and skilled make-up artists, hairdressers, and stylists. A self-taught artist, Dariane was inspired from a young age by high fashion, haute couture, nature, and textures. Dariane is definitively a multidisciplinary artist—creative and full of imagination. Her other talents include hairdressing, make-up, styling, handmade costume production, staging, and more. Dariane aspires to travel and discover the world, photographing creative follies.

Dina Belenko is an incredibly-creative still life photographer from Khabarovsk, Russia. Dina has written several articles for the 500px Blog, including “What’s Behind a Top-Selling Photo?”, “Bokeh & Light Flares: A Still Life Tutorial” and more. She also hosted the 500px Class “Bring Objects to Life,” and is hosting another online class starting in July 2018: “Still Life with Flying Flowers.” This will be an exciting class on how to add dynamics to a still-life image, combining levitation and motion of water drops.

Elizabeth Gadd
Elizabeth Gadd is a landscape, portrait and adventure photographer, often tying all three genres together in one photo. Based just outside of Vancouver, Canada, she fell in love with exploring the surrounding forests, hills, mountains and ocean—all of which are heavily integrated in her photography. After picking up a camera over 10 years ago, she was immediately drawn into the world of creating magical images of nature and landscapes, which eventually led to the whimsical combination of landscapes with human portraiture (usually self-portraits) that Elizabeth is known for today. This niche of Elizabeth’s photography has been described as fairytale-esque, dreamy, peaceful or full of wanderlust. To this day she enjoys traveling, creating, eating chocolate, adventuring with her dog, and always looking for beauty in the world—often in the form of a cup of coffee.

Eric is living the dream: traveling with a camera, a plastic tube, a feather, and a flashlight. With his partner-in-crime Kim Henry, he travels the world lighting up deserts, beaches, and other places where the horizons reveals an infinite place. His light-painting techniques have inspired thousands of photographers around the world to create new striking visuals. When he's at his studios in Montréal, he plays with his 120-camera bullet-time rig to create 360-degree images with his team. His photo/video career has exploded in the last two years, and this has led him to work with renowned brands like Intel, HP, Adobe, Microsoft, and Facebook. As taking a photo doesn't reveals the whole picture, he started documenting his work, and now runs a successful YouTube channel called the Tube Stories, where he teaches his techniques while showing crazy locations, highly-creative experimentations, and the technical aspects of his work.

Garrett Roth is a professional photographer based in Chicago, Illinois, who specializes in portraits, aerial, street, and landscapes. Inna Mosina
Inna Mosina is a 27-year-old Russian fine art photographer who was born in Kazakhstan, and now lives and works in Saratov, Russia. She was educated in law, but was called to a new path, which led her to photography. Almost immediately, she demonstrated an innate ability to create images that unite the ethereal, dreamlike, fantastic, and the conceptual. The colors and elements of her scenes emphasize the significance of each work, as well as the faces of the women she portrays. The subjects of Inna's pictures are women that represent contemporary Russian culture: dreamy women, reflective and melancholic, often suspended in expression—not completely defined, their faces invite viewers to imagine a world beyond the image. Inna creates images full of pathos that portray the author's need to tell a feminine story, whether one of pure fiction or reality.

Iurie Belegurschi is an award-winning fine art, nature, and landscape photographer, based in Iceland. Iurie is the founder of the biggest photography workshop travel agency accredited in Iceland: Iceland Photo Tours. Iurie’s two main passions in life are photography and traveling. He is a big fan of winterscapes and night photography, the latter being his favorite activity. Capturing starry nights and the elusive Aurora Borealis is something that gives him a sense of fulfillment and peace. Based in Calgary, Jennifer is a multiple-award-winning family and child photographer, the 2014 National Association Child Photographer of the Year, as well as a NAPCP Ambassador. Always seeking to improve her craft, she maintains an active membership in the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP) and is a Craftsman Member of the Masters Photographers International. Teaching and sparking a light in others is a passion of Jennifer's, and she has taught photography courses at Babyf in Madrid, in Santa Barbara at the National Association of Professional Child Photographers Retreat, and at various local camera clubs. Underwater family and child photography is both a love and a niche for her. Born out of wanting to build a community, she founded UnderwaterKids to offer education and resources to the growing field of underwater family and child photographers.

She has degrees in Economics and Marketing that led to a successful international marketing career for 15 years—which she happily traded for photography in 2014. Being nearly totally self-taught, she relies a lot on her advertising and marketing experience when constructing an image.

Keith Mokris is a digital marketer drawn to capturing cityscapes and street photography. By day, he works as a product marketer in the cybersecurity industry, but never leaves his camera too far away. You may recognize Keith as one of the first photographers to lead a weeklong Snapchat takeover for 500px, where he shared different Chicago vantage points with the 500px community. He has also contributed to 500px Blog, The Essence of Chicago, as well as shared favorite photos from the global community via his galleries.

Kelly Wood is a photographer based in southern California who primarily focuses on portraits and editorial photography, with the frequent addition of travel photography. She has been working as a professional photographer for the last 10 years and continues to be inspired by the new places she visits, mixing female strength with beauty and the great outdoors. Her love of travel has taken her all over the world, and she is thankful that her photography allows her to document the fleeting moments that bring her the most joy. To date, her favorite photo destination has been Iceland, and she hopes to add to the list of 12 countries to which she’s already ventured. To her, the perfect photo combination would be bringing her portrait work together with the epic landscapes she so admires. Lisa-Marie is a Scottish-born Freelance Photographer based in Alberta, Canada who specializes in fashion, beauty and editorial portraiture. Lisa-Marie graduated from Grant MacEwan University's Design and Photography program in 2013 and has actively been pursuing her photography career ever since. She found her love and passion for photography during grade 10 of High School in 2007 and ever since she got hold of a professional camera she has shot a variety of subjects that led her to where she is now. In her 5 year career she has been published in a number of magazines, hosted photography seminars, been the monthly columnist for Practical Photography Magazine and is an Elinchrom, Canon and now 500PX Ambassador.

Marco Grassi, born and raised in northwest Italy, is an award-winning photographer focused on landscape and travel photography, as well as a photography instructor. His work has been published internationally and has reached millions of people from all over the world. Before leaving a photo location, he is persistent in aiming to get the shot he seeks, sometimes waiting for days for the right moment, and doing everything he can to achieve the desired result. His goal with photography is to make you wonder, and inspire you to travel more and see these amazing places for yourself. Marco will also be hosting the 500px Class, “Understanding Natural Light.” This class, starting August 2018, will focus on how to recognize different types of light when shooting landscapes.

Marina Weishaupt is a young photographer based in Ulm/southern Germany, and is passionate about nature, animals, and the environment. She's happiest when on the road, exploring the beauty of this planet and meeting people in different countries. Due to her interests, she's focused on landscape and travel photography. She prefers barren landscapes and can never get enough of mountain areas with rough structures and unique shapes. When she's not out in the nature and searching for the perfect light conditions, she's probably engaging in her other passion: planning her next adventure. With her photography, Marina wants to inspire others to see the beauty of our world for themselves.

Mario’s last 17 years on Earth have been an amazing visual journey, exploring the African continent with an intense passion for photography. From the great plains of the Serengeti, the floodplains of the Okavango or the harsh lands of the Kalahari to the summit of Kilimanjaro, he has searched for the “perfect moment”—a moment when light, timing and emotions create a memorable and lasting scene. Through South Cape Images Photographic Safaris, Mario has had the opportunity to share his experience and knowledge of wildlife and landscape photography with other photographers from around the planet that are as excited as he is to discover the secrets of Africa. Wildlife photography and hosting photographic safaris are his passion, but not the only genre in his extensive portfolio. Travel and real estate photography also play an important role in his photo assignments, along with commercial photography for the advertising industry.

Matt Payne is a landscape photographer based in Durango, Colorado. His favorite photography subjects include mountains and the night sky. Matt is an avid mountaineer and backpacker, having climbed 92 of the highest 100 mountains in Colorado. Matt enjoys capturing unique moments from Colorado’s most scenic and rarified locations on his journeys into the Colorado mountain wilderness. Matt is also the host and creator of the popular landscape photography podcast, “F-Stop Collaborate and Listen.”

Raquel Chicheri has been attracted to the photography world since she was a child, thanks to her father and his photography books. But it was only when her youngest daughter was born that she bought a new camera and discovered a new world and exciting hobby. With time, the hobby has become a profession. She currently teaches courses at workshops all over the world, and has achieved international recognition through prestigious competitions and international advertising campaigns. Her work has also been published in a number of specialized magazines.

Rekha Garton has been a photographer for over 10 years, specializing in fine art photography (although she isn't happy with that title yet). Her forte is creating images for book covers which her images have been on over 500 now, accumulating only in the last 3 years. But she loves underwater photography and is pushing that creatively starting this year. She loves all things dark, magical and work that suggests a story.

Roy is a trained behavioral ecologist and professional wildlife photographer from Sandnes, Norway. He is a former Nikon ambassador, and is collaborating with f-stop gear on Shinn camera bags. Roy has published several books and had his work published globally. He has won multiple international awards, including category wins at BBC Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2010 and 2011, European Wildlife Photographer of the Year (GDT) 2010 and 2009, as well as Nature Best Awards 2012. Roy was named Arctic Photographer of the Year 2014 by the Global Arctic Awards. Roy is an experienced speaker and has presented his work at several international photo festivals. Roy is a conservationist at heart; currently involved in the Wild Wonders of China project. He is also founding photographer at Penguin World. Roy is a partner and professional photographic host at WildPhoto Travel, and freelances as a guest photographer on private yachts.

Sam Brockway is a freelance photographer based in Boise, Idaho, and specializing in travel and outdoor photography. He began sharing his work as a hobby, but following features from Weather.com and Travel Nevada, he began pursuing his passion for photography professionally. Sam grew up in the small mountain town of Chester, California, where he spent his childhood roaming the forest and exploring Lassen National Park. He earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies from UC Santa Barbara, and attended the University of Washington for graduate work in Public Administration and Marine and Environmental Affairs. His lifelong personal and academic respect for wilderness is evident in his authentic depictions of people engaging with the outdoors. Through his growing social media presence, Sam has been able to work with a number of large outdoor gear and apparel companies.

Stacy White is a rising architectural photographer with a passion for nature, landscapes, and wildlife. Stacy uncovered her love for photography while studying to be an interior designer: photographing items for room placement lit a fire that has since burned brightly. Stacy lives in Sarasota, Florida with her husband, two children, two dogs, and her cat. Living in Florida gives her a wide range of access to interesting wildlife, as well as scenic locations for her photos. She loves abandoned places—especially barns and outbuildings—and enjoys accidentally stumbling on the beautiful ruins of forgotten places. Stacy combines her love for photography and animals by volunteering her time photographing rescued dogs and cats to help them find forever homes in her community. Stacy enjoys traveling as often as possible—wherever she goes, her camera goes. She always aims to capture the beauty she finds around her.

Tobi Shinobi
Tobi ‘Tobi Shinobi’ Shonibare is an international photographer and videographer currently based in Chicago. While he specialises in finding beauty in the often gritty urban landscapes and has a distinct appreciation for stunning architecture, he also shoots high profile live events, such as London’s Red Bull Culture Clash. His desire to push creative boundaries and appreciation for fashion has lead to collaborations with many world renowned brands which include Audi, Coach, LG and Microsoft and Nike. His reputation caught the attention of a number of organisations leading him to become a Sony Global Ambassador and to be headhunted to be Senior Content Creator for Havas Worldwide. Tobi’s work in the influencing and content creation within the realm of ‘sneakers’ was recently featured in international publication Sneakers Magazine. Tobi also starred in the award winning documentary short, ‘I Take Photos’.

Born and raised in Vietnam, Zi Nguyen moved to the United States almost 10 years ago for university, where she didn't major in photography but did discover her passion for documenting life in photographs. Through many years of exploring different styles in photography, Zi found something she loves to capture: fashion and portraits. Her work is inspired by movies and style from the 1980s, with retro and cinematic touches. Zi feels strongly about making art that speaks to viewers, making them linger for a little while.
